The real difference: one copy of your files, not two

ShootProof is built to sit on top of wherever your photos already live, which means they end up living in two places. You edit and back up your originals one way, then upload a set into ShootProof for proofing, delivery, or print orders. Rename something, swap a photo, or reorganize a shoot, and you're doing it twice.

Mirage removes the second copy. The Google Drive folder you already use to store and back up your work is the same folder that powers the website. Organize it the way you already think about your shoots, and the site reflects that automatically: no export, no upload, no separate dashboard to remember to update.

Where ShootProof still has the edge

Mirage covers the basics now: clients can favorite photos from their gallery, and you can sell access to a gallery through Stripe. But if you need full print-lab fulfillment, multi-round proofing approvals, or built-in e-commerce, ShootProof has invested specifically in that. Mirage is built for photographers who want a simple, fast, good-looking website and private galleries without paying for (or learning) features they don't use.

Who Mirage is built for

Solo wedding and portrait photographers, small studios, and anyone shooting a mix of work (portraits, events, everything in between) who wants their website to be as low-maintenance as dragging a file into a folder.
